Auxiliary cable

This is the last in a series of articles of ION TTUSB turntable. In this article we will mention a few possible uses of gramophone's other output, the RCA cable. RCA cable is a standard type of cable used to transmit analog audio and composite video signals between devices such as televisions, satellite or cable receivers, video recorders, game console systems, speakers and other.

One way to connect the gramophone to a speaker is through the auxiliary line.

The more old fashioned way is to connect it to Hi-fi system like this Japanese machine. Electronic machines and amplifiers like this one with stereo equalizer were useful in case you were to record your music to tape or send it to surround speakers.

Connecting the gramophone to a personal computer where the line in is usually in blue color. Same as with the USB connection this can be used for listening to music and recording it, only in this case, it is the sound card that does the analog to digital conversion.
